Sam Shoultz and Ken Matzner are co-owners of KeSa Quarter Horses. They have spent decades carefully selecting and breeding the horses that are the core of our program today. The ultimate goal is to create horses that are good-minded, well-structured and athletic. They have successfully used two foundation bloodlines (Driftwoods and Hancocks) to create just that. Sam handles most of the operation and breeding decisions of the farm. He has succeeded in producing quality horses and continues to improve his herd and the quality that they produce each year.
Nikki Evans is our Farm Manager and has been with KeSa Quarter Horses since Feb. 2006. She graduated from Colorado State University in 2007 with a Bachelor's of Science in Equine Science and a minor in Business and has since been putting that education to good use caring for and overseeing our 100+ head herd.
