The maps below show directions to KeSa Quarter Horses farm in Ault, Colorado
Sam Shoultz and Ken Matzner are co-owners of KeSa Quarter Horses. They have spent decades carefully selecting and breeding the horses that are the core of our program today. The ultimate goal is to create horses that are good-minded, well-structured and athletic. They have successfully used two foundation bloodlines (Driftwoods, Hancocks. plus Peppy San and Leo) to create just that. Sam handles most of the operation and breeding decisions of the program. He has succeeded in producing quality horses and continues to improve his herd and the quality that they produce each year.
Carrie Wilson is KeSa's farm manager and graduated from Colorado State University in May 2008 with a double Bachelor's in Ag Business and Animal Sciences. Carrie grew up in northern Wyoming and has always admired horses. This job at KeSa allows her to pursue her passion of raising and selling Quarter Horses as she hopes to someday have an operation similar to the one we have here at KeSa.
Kim Chelius graduated from Colorado State University with a major in Equine Scienced in December of 2010 and has recently joined the crew.
This mare is out of Rojo Valentine, who passed away last year so there will not be many more of his daughters that will be for sale. She is an attractive mare with a refined head and big, stout hip. She has the bloodlines to be a great athlete or be a great producer of athletic offspring. 'Minny' would be a nice addition to any bloodline, she brings correct conformation, refined looks and a working attitude all in one package.
